Abstract Aims Bariatric surgery has been implicated as a practical therapeutic approach to cure Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. Hence, the present study aims analyse factors that can predict type2 diabetes remission after bariatric and recent literature update information by systematic review. Methods Search strategy followed PICOS framework PRISMA standards. PubMed, EMBASE, Cochrane Library, MEDLINE, CINAHL databases were searched. SPSS version 19 RevMan 5.0 software utilised for statistical analysis. Result Five articles eligible inclusion from 2010 November 2019. The mean age of population in group was younger (40.24 years) than non-remission groups (p < 0.02). Statistically, significant difference 0.08) also found with HbA1c (7.78%) (8.96%).
